Biography

ERIK HUMPHREY

Erik Humphrey is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Brooklyn. He graduated cum laude from the University of the District of Columbia, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts, with a concentration in television and film. He is the founder and CEO of “Over the Hump Productions”, a film and media production company established in 2000. Erik has several film, theater, and other media credits to his honor. He has worked at Fox Television, UDC TV, and as a Media Specialist for the U.S. government. He is currently completing a Master’s degree program in Film from Howard University in Washington, D.C. In 2014 he established and is currently publishing a new digital Film, Arts, and Entertainment magazine titled “Quiet on the Set”. Erik’s passion for film encompasses many styles and genres. Currently, he is developing, writing, and directing an original screenplay for major production.

Darryl M. Rembert

Darryl M. Rembert is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Communications with a concentration in Radio, Television, and Film from Howard University in Washington, D.C. His love of journalism started in High School, where he wrote for and edited his school newspaper. He then went on to major in journalism, but soon found that he had a passion for not only writing, but various aspects of the media. He has worked for NBC, ABC, and CBS affiliates, as well as Warner Bros, PBS, and Black Entertainment Television throughout his professional career.
