WINTER MIX OF TRENDS
It’s that time of year again for the snow, ice and fabulous Winter fashions. We have pulled together some wonderful trends right off the runway for our readers to get a jumpstart on fashion forward looks for the cold months ahead.
GIVE THEM THE BOOT
Sexy thigh high black boots are the rage this season, very throwback 60s with a hint of S&M. These boots make your legs appear longer when paired with a short dress or skirt. Weather lace front, zipper or industrial hardware the boot is a very essential item for looking fashionable this Winter.
THE MANY COLORS OF FUR
Designers are taking fur to the next level by dying them fabulous colors. Red, green, yellow and the whole spectrum of the rainbow look fantastic on fur. This season invest in a few eye-catching outerwear pieces, but make sure you don’t overdo it with colorful accessories.
BOLD TEXTURES
Embossed and luxe textured fabrics are huge this season. They add great detail to your clothes and you can mix and match different textures or a great look.
MATCHING THE BAG
What woman does not love her bag to match her outfit? Designer Oudifu showed matching capes and bags during it’s New York Fashion Week runway show and it was the talk of the season.
FURIOUS FAUX FUR
For those of you who are PETA friendly, bold faux furs are plentiful this season. Capes, coats, sweaters and boots are trimmed in beautiful faux fur prints. They are certainly conversation pieces during the cold.
FANCY MEN
Men are taking huge risk this season by sporting non-traditional prints and the payoff is fantastic. This snakeskin jacket by Michael Costello is absolutely brilliant.
