Warren A. Rhodes of Dover, Delaware is no stranger to the theater and Screen. Rhodes wrote and directed the original gospel musical stage plays, “The Sermon” (1989) and “The Sermon II: The Plan” (1991).  Both plays toured in several cities in the mid-Atlantic area.  Warren wrote and directed many in-house stage productions while serving as director of the Drama Ministry at Dover’s Calvary Baptist Church.  Under commission from Calvary’s Pastor Richard M. Avant, Warren wrote, produced, and directed the feature film, “God’s Amazing Grace is Just A Prayer Away” (2013), which starred noted actor Clifton Davis.  The film won awards at both the 2013 Churches Making Movies Film Festival and the 2014 San Diego Black Film Festival.  In addition to cameo appearances in the movie, Warren directed and executively produced “Love and Deceit” (2016).
