Metrostage Star Roz White Shines Bright Like a Diamond

Roz White, devoted mother of two brilliant sons- Anthony and King, always finds time in addition to excelling in motherhood, to hone her vocal and acting skills.

Roz is a dynamic and versatile vocalist, actress, motivational speaker, and youth advocate. She recently starred in, and received rave reviews while playing the title role in “Black Pearl Sings!” at Metrostage Theater in Alexandria VA.

A Washington, DC native, Roz graduated from Duke Ellington School of the Arts, and Howard University. She has worked as a featured vocalist with Yolanda Adams, Stevie Wonder, and the late Michael Jackson.

Roz White and Teresa Castracane in Black Pearl Sings!This rising star has performed on many stages including Madison Square Garden, The Kennedy Center, Ashford and Simpson’s Sugar Bar, The Apollo Theatre, Constitution Hall, The Shrine Theatre, and The White House.

Enoch King, Roz White, Jeremiah HastyRoz is also the featured vocalist on the R&B smash, “The Moon” by independent soul star Eric Roberson, and is presently working on the Metrostage Theater world premiere musical, “BlackBerry Daze”, scheduled to run September 1 through October 9, 2016.
