M.O.E. Music Over Everything

Posted June 11, 2019 by qotsm in Arts & Entertainment

It’s funny how conversations with total strangers can lead to connections reminding us that we are all just six degrees from separation. One early winter morning I was riding in an Uber and a young gentlemen driver by the name of Maurice Johnson struck up a conversation with me. I think we were talking about music and today’s millennials. As we continued the conversation he said he sang, produced and wrote music. Of course, I became more curious by his claim. I asked him what genre of music he wrote. He said “R&B, a little Hip Hop and Rap”. He played a couple of samples of one his songs and I was somewhat impressed. We continued our conversation until we arrived at my destination. We exchanged information and I told him that my PR person will call him to set up an interview.

Maurice Johnson better known as MOE which is the Acronym for Music Over Everything is a native of the DMV (D.C. Maryland, and Virginia) area and has been working with a young talented producer who produces many local artists.

These guys are diamonds in the ruff and have a lot of creativity to express. I can see them soon on a larger musical platform with their music.
